Inside a Dance Studio is a blog hosted by Pegasus Studios with the aim of celebrating, discussing and learning about how dance can help support and foster healthy and happy children, adolescents and adults. This blog is inspired by our experiences as teachers and owners of Pegasus Studios, a dance studio primarily dedicated to art and health in children, from the ages of 2-20, give or take a few years!

The Thriller

We hope you all had a fun and safe Halloween! The Pegasus Crew certainly did. We spent the night dancing at The Thriller party at the Hyatt Regency. The Pegasus Crew performed a Michael Jackson inspired piece using a compilation of his songs to kick off the Michael Jackson dance contest… and they rocked the house! With their solo white gloves and their creepy crawling into the audience, they were definitely feeling the music and the mood of the evening. And they helped get Batman on the dance floor! We saw lots of other great costumes as well; a big fury dog, a bloody nurse, a mermaid, and just a few Michael Jacksons.

Thanks to Melissa So and Chris Guglick for choreographing the awesome dance piece and all the Pegasus staff who were there to support the dancers (Pam, Heather, Briar and Lisa). Also a big thank you to all the wonderful Pegasus parents, it was great to see you on the dance floor!
